Suzanne Hudson

Director, Human Resources

Suzanne Hudson is a senior manager and the director of human resources with the Institute for Intergovernmental Research (IIR). She has over 20 years of experience in this field and has overseen IIR’s human resources functions since 2014.

Prior to her role at IIR, Ms. Hudson was employed by Tallahassee Memorial HealthCare (TMH), where she held several positions within the human resources division, including administrative assistant to the chief human resources officer, nurse recruiter, academic liaison, and compensation analyst.

Ms. Hudson completed a master of business administration degree with a human resources concentration from Saint Leo University in June 2016 and holds a bachelor’s degree in business and economics from King University. She has also earned her Professional in Human Resources and Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM)-Certified Professional certifications.

Ms. Hudson is an active member of Big Bend SHRM, where she has held several leadership roles and served on various committees; she served as president of the chapter in 2018 and received the Human Resources Florida President’s Award for her leadership tenure.
