Victim Services

October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month! Domestic violence is never tolerated.

Support law enforcement agencies and other justice partners in enhancing services to victims of crime.

Domestic Violence Awareness Month

This October, the National Violence Against Women Law Enforcement Training and Technical Assistance Consortium (LETTAC) elevates Domestic Violence Awareness Month (DVAM). You are invited to reflect on how—as individuals; as criminal justice practitioners; as local, state, and Tribal communities; and as a nation—we can better serve and support those living in the shadow of domestic violence. Members of the LETTAC Consortium recorded brief messages to encourage and inspire colleagues, communities, and victims and survivors. They are honored to add their voices to #DVAM2022.

LETTAC is funded by the Office on Violence Against Women and managed by IIR.

Domestic violence is never tolerated • All survivors are supported • Justice and services should meet victims where they are • Everyone can thrive without fear of abuse
